By simply adding the packet of HI-701-25 reagent, the reaction will take place and the HI-701 will determine the concentration from the colour that is produced. The results will be displayed in ppm (mg\/L) of free chlorine. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0.00 to 2.50 ppm free chlorine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eTip for an accurate measurement\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is important that the sample does not contain any debris.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhenever the cuvette is placed into the measurement cell, it must be dry outside and completely free of fingerprints, oil or dirt. Wipe it thoroughly with HI-731318 or a lint-free cloth prior to insertion.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShaking the cuvette can generate bubbles, causing higher readings. To obtain accurate measurements, remove such bubbles by swirling or by gently tapping the cuvette.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDo not let the reacted sample stand for too long after reagent is added, or accuracy will be lost.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter the reading, it is important to discard the sample immediately, otherwise the glass might become permanently stained.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eFour steps.
