Specialist multi-parameter electrode designed for hydroponics
The HI-1285-7 multi-parameter electrode is designed to overcome issues of measuring pH & EC/TDS in hydroponic applications associated with aggressive chemicals, frequently faced by conventional multi-parameter electrodes.
The HI-9814 is supplied complete with the HI-1285-7 specialist electrode that features the following key benefits:
- Pre-amplified pH electrode - prevents interference from humidity and sources of electrical noise including circulating pumps, motors and ballasts from grow lights.
- Amperometric EC/TDS sensor - EC/TDS readings are performed by a two-pin amperometric sensor, best suited to low conductivity applications
- Built-in temperature sensor - readings of pH and EC/TDS must be temperature compensated in order to obtain accurate results. The built-in temperature sensor provides a speedy temperature reading which is then used to adjust the pH and EC/TDS results accordingly for higher accuracy.
- Polypropylene body - the durable body of the HI-1285-7 electrode is chemically resistant to many aggressive chemicals used in hydroponics and protects all three sensors.
- DIN Connector - the HI-1285-7 has been specifically designed for use with the HI-9814 meter, the DIN connector means the probe is not interchangeable.
