Peaceful and generally suitable for community reef tanks.

May show territorial behavior toward other gobies or very similar species in smaller systems. Best kept singly unless housed in a larger aquarium.

Often perches on SPS corals, especially Acropora.

Reef safe, but may:

• Lay eggs on SPS corals

• Occasionally irritate Acropora by constant perching

Rarely causes serious damage, but this should be considered in SPS-dominated systems.

Carnivorous micro-predator. Feed:

• Artemia
