Mediareaktorit tai leijupetisuodattimet ovat säiliöitä jossa käytetään suodatusmateriaalia kuten aktiivihiiltä, fosfaatinpoistajaa, zeoliittiä, biopellettejä tai muuta materiaalia.
Reaktoria käytettäessä materiaalin kontaktiaika veden kanssa pitenee ja teho on huomattavasti parempi kuin esimerkiksi suodatuspussia käytettäessä.
Huomioi että eri reaktorit on tarkoitettu tietyille materiaaleille.
