The Nyos QUANTUM Protein Skimmer Goes Smart:
The QUANTUM EQ protein skimmer can be easily and wirelessly connected, controlled, and programmed via your iOS or Android smartphone. The QUANTUM EQ offers the following features:

Control via Mobius and Apex Fusion App:

The QUANTUM EQ can be controlled through the Mobius app, using the same user interface as your Ecotech Marine and Aquaillumination pumps and LED lighting. Through the MXM Mobius Wireless Control Module, you can also integrate the QUANTUM EQ into Neptune Systems' Apex Fusion App. Both apps are available on the App Store and Google Play Store.

Predefined Templates:

To make operation as simple and intuitive as possible, Mobius offers predefined templates:

• Performance Mode: The skimmer pump is set to 70% power, allowing you to fine-tune the settings as needed.

• Plankton Saving Mode: At night, the skimmer’s performance is reduced to protect natural plankton, which is mostly active during nighttime.

• Nutrient Export Reduction Mode: If nutrient levels in the aquarium are too low, this mode permanently lowers the skimmer’s performance.

Customizable Scenes:

You can also include the QUANTUM EQ in Scenes within the Mobius app, for example, reducing performance during water changes or feeding, and then automatically returning to the preset level.

Smart Safety Features:

If a snail shell blocks the intake, the pump shuts off to allow water to drain from the skimmer, dislodging the shell. If an automatic restart is not possible, the pump shuts off completely, the RGB LED on the skimmer blinks red, and a notification appears in the app.

LED Color Code Indicates Pump Speed:

An RGB LED inside the skimmer indicates the pump speed via a color code and can also function as a flashlight for maintenance work in the cabinet. This feature is legally protected.

Infinitely Adjustable:

The pump speed of the QUANTUM EQ can be adjusted continuously from 1–100%. Different pump speeds can be scheduled throughout the day using the app.

Energy-Efficient 24V Pumps:

The QUANTUM EQ uses energy-saving low-voltage pumps made in the EU. Thanks to intelligent control, the pump uses up to 20% less electricity and is 10% more powerful compared to the non-adjustable QUANTUM pump.
