The Neptune Systems PAR Monitoring Kit (PMK) is a kit designed to monitor and log the light levels of your aquarium 24 hours a day! The kit includes the new Advanced Sensors Module. It’s the perfect tool to fine-tune your lighting for your tank. Now you can adjust your lighting with the confidence that you’re not giving your corals and plants too much or too little light. The PAR sensor is nicely concealed in your aquarium as it is integrated into the Real Reef Rock.

At certain parts of the spectrum, the human eye cannot perceive changes in light intensity once the light level exceeds a certain point. Too often, this leads people to adjust their LED lighting far beyond the ideal PAR level. This usually results in burning, bleaching, and/or death of corals. With the PMK, you can adjust your lighting while keeping a close eye on the light that affects your corals and plants throughout the day.
