Kalkwasser reactors for using kalkwasser (limewater) in a saltwater aquarium. A kalkwasser reactor can be used to add calcium to the aquarium and maintain alkalinity, while also helping to raise and stabilize the pH value.
Kalkwasser is usually dosed with top-off water or by a separate dosing pump. This method is particularly suitable for reef aquariums where there is a desire to support calcium and KH consumption and improve pH levels in a controlled manner.
Choose a kalkwasser reactor based on the size of the aquarium, the amount of evaporated water, and the automatic top-off system in use. Always adjust usage based on measured water parameters.
