Media reactors or fluidized bed filters are tanks that use filtration material such as activated carbon, phosphate remover, zeolite, biopellets or other material.
When using a reactor, the contact time of the material with water is longer and the efficiency is significantly better than when using a filter bag, for example.
Please note that different reactors are intended for specific materials.
