The Trident Marine Aquarium Water Analyzer is an automated testing system that regularly tests Alkalinity, Calcium, and Magnesium in your saltwater aquarium. The Trident automatically tests your aquarium water up to 24 times a day. Maintaining the correct levels of alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium is essential for a great reef aquarium. The Trident sends this information to your Apex, allowing you to receive alerts and adjust your dosing as needed. The tests performed by the Trident are incredibly accurate, with a precision of +/- 0.05 dKh for Alkalinity and 15ppm for Calcium and Magnesium.

The Trident is easy to set up. From unpacking the box to using the Trident takes less than 10 minutes! Simply connect one cable and two tubes, and perform the setup task on the Apex Fusion mobile app. The app tells you exactly what to do to get started! When the Trident is in use, the app will still be an important part of the system. When test results fall outside the range you specify, the Apex will alert you on your mobile device.

Some testing systems use up to 100 ml of your tank water for their tests. This can cause fluctuations in the salinity of the tank. With the minimal sample taken by the Trident, there will be almost no effect on your salinity. The potentially contaminated test water is never returned to the aquarium. Instead, it is sent to a waste container or drain.

When the Trident is combined with the DOS system (sold separately), the two work together. Your Apex uses the data generated by Trident tests to automatically and safely adjust or reduce your dosing to keep your tank levels as stable as possible.
