Aquaforest Reef Mineral Salt is a sodium chloride-free mineral salt for the Balling method. Its function is to maintain the ionic balance of the water when calcium chloride and sodium bicarbonate are dosed into the aquarium.
Reef Mineral Salt is not an aquarium salt intended for making seawater. It supplements the Balling system and does not replace water changes.
Dissolve 25 g of the product in 1,000 ml of RODI water. In the Aquaforest Balling method, the solution is dosed in the same volume as the Calcium and KH Buffer solutions prepared according to the manufacturer's instructions. Determine the total dosage based on water measurements and consumption.
According to the manufacturer, Reef Mineral Salt can be combined in the same solution with Calcium or Magnesium.
