Yellowtail Damselfish (Chrysiptera parasema)

The Yellowtail Damselfish is a small, hardy and colorful reef fish known for its striking deep blue body and bright yellow tail. Compared to many other damselfish species, it is relatively peaceful and can be a good choice for community reef aquariums when kept with compatible tank mates.

This active fish spends much of its time swimming in the open water and around rock structures. It is very resilient and adapts well to aquarium life, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced reef keepers.

They accept a wide range of foods including frozen foods, pellets and flakes. Feeding a varied diet helps maintain their strong coloration and overall health.

A great choice for adding movement and vibrant color to a reef aquarium.
