Siganus guttatus , known as the orange-spotted (or gold-lined, or Gold-saddle Rabbitfish ) spinefoot , is a robust rabbitfish from the Indo-Pacific. In well-maintained reefs or large aquariums, it is generally peaceful and reef-safe, provided it is well-fed with algae (eg, nori, spirulina). Its venomous spines can deliver a painful sting, though rarely dangerous. When introduced together, two individuals can form a compatible pair.
