Maxspect Diffuser Hood is a diffuser and glare shield designed for the Jump MJ-L290 light. It softens the light and helps reduce light spill, making viewing the aquarium more comfortable.

More uniform light appearance

The diffuser blends the LED colors and softens intense light shimmer and shadow edges. It is a useful accessory, especially if the light's LEDs are distractingly visible from your viewing position.

The diffuser also reduces the amount of light entering the tank. Please take this into account when adjusting your lighting and acclimatize your corals to the changes gradually.
