Maxspect Refine Standard is a magnetic algae scraper that allows you to clean aquarium glass from the outside of the tank. A rigid blade, a powerful N52 magnet, and an integrated sharpening stone in the handle make it a practical tool even for removing stubborn algae.

Smooth glass cleaning

The 0.8 mm thick 316L stainless steel blade maintains its shape during use. The sliding feet designed for glass reduce friction, and the ergonomic handle makes it easier to move the scraper. With the built-in sharpening stone, you can maintain the edge of the blade.

Choose the right blade

  • Glass: use the stainless steel blade.
  • Acrylic: use the ABS plastic blade and remove the sliding feet according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Recommended glass thickness: 9–15 mm

Magnet: N52

Keep the area between the scraper and the glass free of sand and other hard particles. Do not run the blade over silicone seams. Replacement blades are model-specific.
