The EcoTech Marine Vectra M2 is an adjustable DC return pump for circulating water from the sump to the main tank. The pump's power can be adjusted electronically to suit the needs of the system, making it easy to fine-tune the flow according to your plumbing and filtration.

Return pump or closed-loop pump

The Vectra can be used submerged or installed externally in a plumbing system. When used as a return pump, it maintains a steady flow between the main tank and the sump. In a closed-loop system, you can also utilize various flow patterns such as Lagoon, Reef Crest, and Gyre.

Control and feed mode

Use the Mobius app to adjust flow and operating modes. Calibration allows you to match the pump's minimum and maximum performance to your specific plumbing. In feed mode, the flow is reduced so that food does not get carried into the overflow as quickly. Speed Lock locks the controller to prevent accidental changes to settings.

Installation and maintenance

QuickCouple connectors make it easy to detach the pump for cleaning. The rotatable pump housing provides flexibility for plumbing routing. Choose pipe or hose adapters based on your installation and the included connector kit.

Technical specifications

Maximum flow rate refers to output with zero head height. Actual flow decreases as head height, plumbing bends, and other resistance increase. The inch size should not be interpreted directly as the outer diameter of metric PVC pipe.

Backup power and box contents

Using the separately sold EcoTech Battery Backup with the Vectra requires the Vectra Battery Backup Booster accessory. Backup duration depends on, among other things, the pump settings and head height.

The package includes the pump, QuietDrive controller, controller bracket, power supply, and the intake and output QuickCouple components.
