Aquaforest AF Air Scrubber Media is a CO2 absorbent for treating protein skimmer intake air. It removes carbon dioxide from the air and can help raise a low pH in reef aquariums.

Usage

Place the media in a dedicated CO2 filter, such as the AF Air Scrubber. The media is used for the airflow, not for filtering aquarium water.

The white media turns violet during use. Replace the media before the color change covers the entire charge. The used media is disposable and cannot be regenerated.

Monitor your pH during use. The effect depends on factors such as the CO2 concentration of the room air and the airflow of the protein skimmer.
