Maxspect Jump MJ-SK2800 is an in-sump protein skimmer for saltwater aquariums. An adjustable DC pump and dual-needle wheel design produce fine bubbles that collect organic matter into the skimmer cup.

Adjustable skimming

Use the front dial to fine-tune the skimmer's internal water level. An integrated silencer and bubble trap keep the unit tidy while reducing intake air noise and microbubbles returning to the sump.

In the second-generation model, the right-side water intake can be adjusted. Quick-release clips and a detachable silencer make cleaning easier.

Control for daily maintenance

When the collection cup sensor detects an overflow, the controller reduces the pump speed to level 1. After emptying, the controller restores the previous speed once the sensor detects that the situation has been resolved. This function complements the regular emptying of the cup.
