Korallifarmi BioFlow Blox

Korallifarmi BioFlow Blox is a compact biological filtration solution that combines controlled flow and high-surface-area filtration material in a solid block form. The package includes a rack and 2 porous filter blocks.

The filter material is made of ceramic material with a very large internal surface area for bacterial growth. One block provides up to approximately 1,080 m² of surface area, enabling efficient nitrogen cycling in a small space.

BioFlow Blox uses the same material and technology as BioFlow balls, but in a different form. The block structure provides even flow and neat placement in the sump.

The porous structure allows for the formation of a broad microbial community, including nitrifying bacteria, which convert ammonium to nitrate via nitrite and help maintain stable water quality.

Care Instructions

• Place in an area with continuous and even flow
• Rinse in aquarium water if necessary to maintain porosity
• Do not rinse in tap water to preserve the bacterial culture
