Sailfin Tang (Zebrasoma veliferum)
Zebrasoma veliferum is a large and striking surgeonfish. Its high dorsal and anal fins, when extended, form the distinctive sail-like profile characteristic of the species. The body features alternating light and dark vertical stripes, and the coloration changes as the fish grows.
The Sailfin Tang is an active herbivore that grazes on rock surfaces throughout the day. This species grows large and, in the long term, requires a very spacious aquarium with plenty of open swimming room.

Compatibility: compatible with most reef fish. Aggression can occur with other surgeonfish, especially species from the genus Zebrasoma.
