Sinularia (Sinularia sp.)

Sinularia is a hardy and relatively fast-growing soft coral that forms a branching or finger-like growth, depending on the species and individual. Polyps cover the coral's surface and, when open, give the growth a soft, living appearance.

Characteristics

- Branching or finger-like growth habit

- Hardy and easy-to-care-for soft coral

- Grows quite quickly under good conditions

- Moves naturally with water flow

- Can be easily propagated by cutting pieces from the growth

Care instructions

- Lighting: Moderate–strong

- Flow: Moderate–strong, variable

- Temperature: 24–26 °C

- Salinity: 1.024–1.026

- Feeding: Obtains most of its energy through photosynthesis. Separate target feeding is not essential.

- Placement: Leave growing space around it. Sinularia can grow large and shade nearby corals.
