Aquaforest Calcium is a calcium chloride powder for maintaining calcium levels and correcting measured calcium deficiencies in marine aquariums. Calcium is consumed, for example, by the growth of stony corals and coralline algae.
Mixing ratio: 50 g / 1,000 ml of RODI water
Effect of solution: 100 ml / 100 l increases calcium levels by approximately 17.5 mg/l
Effect of powder: 10 g / 100 l increases calcium levels by approximately 35 mg/l
Maximum recommended daily increase: 20 mg/l
Determine the dose based on water tests and consumption. When used in the Balling method, the product is part of a regimen that also includes maintaining KH and ionic balance.
Causes serious eye irritation. Wear eye protection. If in eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical advice/attention.
Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Dispose of contents and container in accordance with local regulations.
