AI Hydra Edge 44HD Freshwater is a 95 W LED light for freshwater planted aquariums. It combines broad light distribution, a spectrum designed for plants, and adjustable light shimmer. With the light hue, you can highlight the colors of plants and fish, as well as the details of rocks and driftwood.

Lighting and control

The 100° EdgeField optics distribute light widely and blend the light from different color channels. The white and warm white LEDs of the Solar Ring produce a shimmer visible with the movement of the water surface. With separate adjustment, you can choose between a subtle or more vivid effect.

For the daily program, you can set intensities and hues for different times of the day. The amount of light and the day length are matched to the plant species and other aquarium maintenance.

The light intensity, color channels, and daily lighting program are adjusted via the Mobius or myAI app. HyperDrive distributes unused power between color channels, and there is a dedicated channel for moonlight.

Technical specifications

For HMS mounting, a Hydra Edge adapter compatible with the 44HD model is required.

The package includes the light and a power supply. A bracket or suspension kit is purchased separately.

The low-profile body features a heatsink and a fan. With a compatible tiltable bracket, the light can be directed into the tank to reduce light spill into the surrounding area. The number of lights depends on the tank dimensions and the light requirements of the plants.
