The EcoTech Marine Radion XR30 G6 Pro is a reef aquarium LED light for the hobbyist who wants to adjust their lighting from a natural bright daylight to a blue evening glow.
Pro or Blue?
The Pro model’s LED array combines cool and warm whites, blue and violet tones, as well as red and green. It provides plenty of flexibility for adjusting the daylight tone and coral color rendition. If you prefer particularly blue-dominant lighting, the Blue model is an option where a larger proportion of the LEDs are blue and violet.
Uniform light distribution and coral colors
The G6 generation’s HEI2 optics provide a light spread of 126.3°. The wide beam angle and blending of different LED colors help distribute light more evenly throughout the aquarium. The included 395 nm LEDs complete the spectrum and bring out coral fluorescence.
Program the lighting to your own daily rhythm
In the free Mobius app, you can adjust color channels, light intensity, and the daily schedule. You can use a pre-set program or build your own with sunrises and evening dimming. The light also features moonlighting and weather simulation functions.

Number of lights and mounting
The XR30 is a more powerful option for building a larger lighting setup. The required number depends on the tank’s surface area, depth, rock structure, and the light requirements of the corals. Especially in dense SPS coral setups, light uniformity and shadowing must be considered.
RMS mounts and hanging solutions suitable for the XR30 model are available separately. The G5/G6 diffuser softens the lighting effect and improves color blending, but reduces light output slightly. Mounting accessories and the diffuser are sold separately.
