Midas Blenny (Ecsenius midas)
Ecsenius midas is an active and personable blenny, with coloration ranging from grayish-green to golden-orange and even bluish. The eyes are bright blue and the center of the tail is partially transparent, which gives the tail a deeply forked appearance.
In the wild, the Midas Blenny often swims in open water alongside schools of anthias and is capable of changing its coloration to match the surrounding fish. Golden-orange individuals are found, for example, in association with Pseudanthias squamipinnis schools.
