Korallifarmi BioFlow 36

Korallifarmi BioFlow 36 is an efficient and compact biological filtration solution that combines optimized flow and high-surface-area filtration material in one unit. The package includes a stand and 36 highly porous and durable ceramic bio-balls.

The stand directs water to flow evenly through the balls, which enhances bacterial activity and makes filtration more efficient compared to filtration material placed freely in the sump. This helps maintain stable water quality and supports a functional nitrogen cycle.

One bio-ball provides up to approximately 54 m² of surface area for bacterial growth. The highly porous structure allows for the formation of a broad microbial community, including nitrifying bacteria that convert ammonia to nitrate via nitrite.
