Pre-weighed KH buffer for marine and reef aquariums

An easy and reliable way to maintain stable carbonate hardness (KH) in marine aquariums.

One package contains 800 g of powder, enough to prepare 10 liters of ready-to-use KH solution.

No weighing required – just mix, dose, and keep water parameters stable.

Carbonate hardness is a key factor for pH stability and coral well-being.

Coral Farm recommends a KH level of 7–8 dKH.

Mixing Instructions (10 L KH Solution)

1. Take a clean container or jerry can with a 10-liter measuring scale.
2. Add about 9 liters of RO/DI water to the container.
3. Add the entire contents of the package to the water.
4. Stir thoroughly.
5. Add RO/DI water until the total volume is 10 liters.
6. Stir again. The solution may require several stirs before the powder is completely dissolved.

(You can also prepare a smaller batch at a time by weighing 80g per 1L of RO water)

Tip: The powder dissolves most easily when the water temperature is about +20–25 °C.
If necessary, let the solution stand and stir again before use. 

Dosing

• 100 ml of ready-to-use solution raises the KH value by approximately 2.6 dKH / 100 l of water.
• Recommended KH level: 7–8 dKH
• Maximum daily increase: 0.5 dKH per day

Add the solution slowly to an area of strong flow or to the return pump section.
