The Red Sea MAX NANO G2 XL is a 125-liter all-in-one reef aquarium where the lighting, water circulation, protein skimmer, and filtration are designed as a fully functional system. The equipment is housed in a filtration compartment integrated into the back of the tank, so no separate sump is required.
The XL model's 60 cm deep and 50 cm wide tank offers plenty of space for reef structures while keeping the overall unit compact. The rimless tank is made of 10 mm ultra-clear glass. The cabinet is available in black or white; please select your preferred color from the product options.
The included ReefLED 50 is an LED light designed for reef aquariums. The light is controlled via the Red Sea ReefBeat app, which allows you to manage light intensity and the daily schedule, as well as use features like coral acclimatization programs, lunar cycles, and cloud effects.
The light comes with a tank-mount arm that can be rotated to the side during aquarium maintenance.
The filtration equipment is located at the back of the tank behind a hinged cover. Water flows through a removable surface skimmer into a 225-micron filter sock and then through the Nano XL skimmer, filter media compartment, and bubble trap.
The included Sicce circulation pump circulates water at approximately 1550 liters per hour. Water is returned to the main tank via a multi-directional adjustable nozzle.
The MAX NANO G2 XL includes an integrated RO top-off reservoir and an automatic water level control system, which replaces evaporated water and helps keep the water level and salinity stable.
The rear sump is also ready for the separately sold ReefATO+ system, which combines automatic top-off, temperature monitoring, and leak detection in the ReefBeat app.
A separately sold Red Sea NanoMat roller filter can be installed in place of the filter sock for automatic mechanical filtration.
