Pipe Organ Coral (Tubipora musica)

Tubipora musica is an easily recognizable coral that forms red calcareous tube structures resembling organ pipes. The polyps are typically green or brown and open during the day, creating a dense, living surface. This coral brings a distinct structural contrast to the aquarium.

In nature, Tubipora musica is found in shallow, brightly lit reefs with moderate water flow. The species belongs to the relatives of soft corals but exceptionally forms a hard calcareous skeleton.
