Male and Female
The Yellow-fin Flasher Wrasse is a small and active wrasse, especially known for its spectacular courtship displays and bright yellow fins. Males flash their colors and spread their fins, particularly in the evenings or in the presence of other wrasses.
This species thrives in a peaceful reef aquarium with plenty of swimming space and rock structures for hiding. Like other flasher wrasses, this species is fast-moving and skittish, so the aquarium needs a tight-fitting lid to prevent jumping.
